If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you. Walked up to this place and was greeted with such a warm and lively women who really lived and breathed baking. There is a small, but bountiful menu. I got the chocolate chip cookie, blueberry cheesecake cookie, chocolate chip with pretzel and toffee (forgot), and the cinnamon roll. The cookies looked delectable with perfect chocolate chips and pretzels and colors. The first bite of the chocolate chip was heavenly with the bottom being moist and the center being soft and gooey. An extremely good cookie that is enhanced with milk that everyone shoukd try. The other cookies were also great, but not as good as the other cookies. Very unique flavor profiles for sure though. Then the cinnamon roll. I thought I couldn’t eat any more sweets, but then I took a nice, moist piece of the cinnamon roll which was amazing. Didn’t think it was going to be great because i was there for cookies, but wow. Amazing place with a great vibe and desserts.

Laurie was so kind and welcoming when we showed up this morning for a cinnamon roll. The craving set in yesterday and I was delightfully surprised to find The Salty Blonde. Seeing the caramel pecan sticky bun on the menu was a must purchase. It was delicious and the star of our morning. Thanks again for the great eats and lovely service.

Stopped by this spot and ended up way more impressed than I expected. First off, the menu itself already gives you a good idea of what they’re about—simple, creative, and focused on doing a few things really well. The variety is solid too. You’ve got classics like the Original Cinnamon Roll and chocolate chip cookies, but also some fun options like the Strawberry Pop-Tart, “Gone Bananas,” and the Lemon Candy cookie. Everything sounded thoughtfully put together rather than just thrown on a menu. What really stood out to me, though, was the owner. Super kind, welcoming, and actually took the time to talk—not just take an order and move on. They shared some insight into future products they’re working on, which made the whole experience feel more personal. You can tell there’s real passion behind what they’re building, and that goes a long way. The pricing felt fair, especially with deals like the bundle options and the discount for multiple cookies. It’s the kind of place that feels like it’s still growing, but in a good way—you’re catching it before it blows up. Overall, this is the type of spot you root for. Good energy, good people, and a menu that makes you want to come back a

Wow! We are SO glad that we discovered the Salty Blonde Bakery food truck while visiting Austin! I found it on google and the reviews were great, so we needed to try it. The food truck is very cute, but can be a little difficult to find. It is in a parking lot right by Quack's 43rd Street Bakery. We missed it the first time that we went looking for it--just turn left on the street just past Quack's and you will see it. Make sure you check the hours before you go and know that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We were greeted with a friendly smile. She explained that everything is made from scratch in small batches with premium ingredients! You can tell that she loves what she is doing and it shows. We ordered the coffee cake cinnamon roll, which is a homemade cinnamon roll with crumble and pecan topping--it was delicious! You can definitely tell that the cinnamon rolls are homemade, and they just melt in your mouth. Of course, we also had to have cookies. We ordered two of the salted brown butter chocolate chip cookies (which had just come out of the oven and were gooey and warm--they were amazing!!), a cookie butter cookie, and the Hyde Park cookie, which is a
